Carbinox composite tube is a unique bi-metallic product formed by a patented synchronised cold rolling operation. The resulting product delivers the major benefits of long lasting, non-corrosive and decorative finish of stainless steel together with the certified loading and structural qualities of carbon steel.

Carbinox is perfect for applications where expensive thicker wall stainless steel tube is used. It is well suited to applications where the main material criteria is not structural, but where a low maintenance, non-corrosive, decorative finish is required. An outer skin of stainless steel over a core of carbon steel is a cost effective alternative that will still look and perform in these applications as pure stainless steel tube would, but at a much reduced cost.

Available in standard tube sizes: 10mm o/d - 300mm o/d in any wall thickness. Round, oval and rectangular sections are available. Produced from Outer layer stainless 201, 304, 316 and Inner layer S235, S275 carbon steel or Galvanized steel. Certified grades.
